Is it possible to ember igoogle applications onto your own website? what are the rules on this? is it something they offer?

Oscar|||I think it is unlikely because iGoogle can link to your private areas, such as your application space and emails. It is really intended as your own home page rather than a public page.
But you can share areas and pages in google apps. For example a group of sales reps can share contacts and documents. Each needs a google login of their own, then they are invited to share the area you want to give them access to.
For the website side you use 'Sites' these are web sites, you can make these public or you can share with those who you 'invite'. Now you get what you are after, because you can have just about everything you put on iGoogle on your site.
Remember to make it invite only if you are sharing documents.
