My Gmail is screwing up my YouTube. YouTube won't let me log on with my regular account only my Gmail and if I log on with Gmail it will say that my user name is incorrect. I figure that if i delete my Gmail then the problem will be solved. So how do I delete my Gmail? Also, if you know a way to solve this problem please tell me. Thank you!

Click on 'Settings' (Upper-right corner)
Click on the 'Accounts' tab
Click on 'Google Account settings'
If you'd like to close your gmail account, but keep your Google account click on 'edit' next to 'My services'
Finally, Click on 'Delete Gmail Service' and fill out the form on the next page
