What is the difference between Google and iGoogle?

Every time I log on to my Laptop it goes to iGoogle instead of Google like it used to, is there a difference between the two?|||Google is SE. IGoogle is a place where you can do settings (like you can add news, youtube).|||You can have personal settings on iGoogle and you can get things on it that are like aps. You don't have to pay for it, just register.|||Google is just plain google. Google is a dashboard to have different things like a calculator or youtube
